Year Six of “If This House Could Talk”

Time to start thinking about your “If This House Could Talk” sign for 2021! This year it happens with Yankee Homecoming (July 30- August 8)

The Newburyport Public Library Archival Center is open for appointments, and can help with house research; reach them at (978) 465-4428 x231.

Online house research classes will be starting in June. Watch this website, Facebook, Nextdoor for the signup process.

A special treat this year – if it’s your first time, you may be in luck! Mary Baker Eaton has been diligently compiling house stories at https://historynewburyport.com/. She may even have enough information for a ready made sign for your house! The map is at http://map.marybakerart.com. Now it couldn’t be easier to put up a sign!
